Well a wooden one. I got a long piece of wood then cut it I snapped of the end bit for a reason you may see later. I whittled (Cut the wood down and down) until I got a sharp end, I added decorations and then added the piece I snapped to make the cross guard/ quillon block. This is it.

Very fun! My son made a sword out of wood too. His is a bit different, but he enjoyed making it. I hope you enjoy yours as much!
